Karlie was very special. From her difficult beginning in a puppy mill in Oklahoma City, to recovering from severe emotional issues to becomming a warm and loving Great Dane, She was very special. Her most desired wish came true when she was adopted by the Heatons. Sadly Karlie left us all to soon on June 3, 2002.
To the Heatons, everyone at GDALI sends their sorrow. We also thank you for giving Karlie what every Dane deserves, a wonderful and loving home.
Ra crossed the bridge on December 4, 2002. Ra was a very special Dane with a very special owner. Ra was a very well trained, loveable and playful Dane for his 9 years. When the time came he did not suffer and was with people who loved him.
Ra came from Italy with his owner Stan. Ra knew commands in three languages. You see Stan is one of the wonderful American service men currently serving our country. Because Stan has been out of the country for sometime, Roger, a volunteer with Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue, took care of Ra for Stan.
Thank you Roger for taking such good care of Ra for Stan. To Stan we at GDALI send our deepest sympathies. The Dane world has lost another wonderful Great Dane.
Molly was a beautiful 3 year old Dane that suffered from Cardiomyopathy. On December 4, 2002 in the loving arms of her owner and in her own home, Molly crossed the bridge.
We send our sincerest sympathies to Helen. She misses Molly very much and I'm sure will never forget her.
Montana , a Dane that touched everyone he ever met. Montana was turned in at the wonderful age of 8 1/2 to the Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue. He was fostered by Teresa. After a short period, Teresa adopted Montana. On January 29, 2003 Montana took the walk across the Bridge in the loving arms of his owner at the age of 11 years old.
Gunter
What makes Gunter so special is the strength of will he possessed. Gunter was diagnosed with "Wobblers" about a year ago.
With the love and dedication of his owners Kari and Troy, Gunter fully recovered from this surgery. He was happy to be able to run and play without falling down. He was very proud of himself as he was able to run up hills. One of Gunter favorite things to do was to watch the rabbits playing from the deck of his home.
To our volunteers Kari and Troy, we share the pain of your loss. We salute you for everything you did for Gunter. You are responsible and loving owners and Gunter loved you very much. While Gunter was not with us long, he was a very happy Dane.
Doc
Doc had just been rescued by Rocky Moutain Great Dane Rescue, Inc. and was being fostered by the Benton's. Everyone at GDALI sends our sincerest sympathy to everyone at RMGDRI.
To Doc's foster Mom and Dad. There is no doubt that the time Doc spent with you was the happiest and most loved time in his life.
Jubal , was a loved and playful two year old Dane. On Valentines Day 2003 he Crossed the Bridge. Jubal was happy, healthy and cared for. No knows why such unexplained things happen. Jubal shows us to not take for granted the time we have with these amazing Dogs.
To Jeff, Debbie and Shannon we extend our thoughts to you. We understand how hard this was on you and how unexpected. But if we all remember Jubal, then he is not really gone, but in our hearts. For Jubal, give your Dane an extra hug today and tell him/her that you do love them
Taylor
Taylor was 11 years old Tony and Kathy had saved Taylor three years earlier from being put down.
Tony and Kath will never forget their "Grand Grey Lady". We are proud to be able to honor her.
